These are photos of the kindergarten room in progress that year. Several down the final room photos are presented. My son and his girlfriend helped me set up. I got a full blown 3d version of a tree that year. Haven't done it since. Maybe 2026 is the year? Who knows. Going back I realized I skipped a year so here it is. 2019-2020 Kindergarten. My last year teaching kindergarten.
Here we are! I moved to a new school! Best move. I was sad to leave my co-workers but it had to happen to save myself. Luckily, it worked and I fell in love with teaching again! I am more excited than ever to start year 2 at my new school in 2026! For now, here is the 2025-2026 room! My biggest challenge this year was that my room is half the size it has been for the previous years. (except in Hawaii my room was small too) Storage was a huge issue this year. I am learning to purge and to organize every inch. I've also ditched the primary colors for pastels. I bought in on this one, so it's pastels from here until retirement. 9 more years to go!
Well, this will be the last year at this school. I continue to change every year with my rooms and as I post and review I understand some of the transitions. Very interesting to document and then reflect on each years room.
